What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of the year in many households will be rather sad for many music lovers. The great James Brown has finished his work on earth and his moving on. He passed on this morning after being hospitalized with pneumonia. James Brown has had a great influence on artists like Michael Jackson, Usher and many others. He will be greatly missed by millions of fans all over the globe. But like the many great musicians that finished their earthly journey before him, his music and dance moves will be here forever. Heard him sing at Otis Redding's funeral in Macon GA at the Auditorium and one other time. He was the Godfather and could dance way better than Michael Jackson. He put on a big free Christmas dinner for anyone who wanted to come in Augusta GA. I guess today will be the last one. He will be missed but his music will live for a long time. Can I Hit It One More Time.
