Hey, I've got a problem I'd like to discuss. I've been smoking weed for about a month, without any side effects. A couple of days ago I smoked more than usual (or the weed was somehow stronger, I don't know). After a while, I believe I've noticed that the right side of my right eye was really red. Not the whole eye, more like a spot. I was quite high, so I ignored it. 3 days since then, the right side of my right eye suddenly started to hurt (right upon waking up). The whole area is very slightly red and I can feel it when I blink. So my question is, did this happen to anyone here? If so, what did you do? Will it just go away after a couple of days? I could just go to the doctor but I'd prefer not doing so if this is something minor and/or easy to fix. Thanks for any insights in advance.
Go to the Dr. It has nothing to do with pot. Unless you crushed up a bud and rubbed it in your eye. You don't even need to mention it to the doc. It's most likely conjunctivitis or an infection. Did you cough really hard while smoking? Possibly blew a blood vessel from coughing. Or even a laughing fit. But it is no way a problem from smoking the weed.
I'm sure nothing similar has ever happened to me, so it just seemed like too much of a coincidence that it happened right after I smoked a lot of weed. But yeah, you're right, I coughed, not sure how much through. I always cough while smoking weed, so I didn't even pay attention to that (guess I'm gonna have to work on reducing the coughing). Anyway thanks for telling me to not bring it up to the doctor, I definitely would've done that.
No i think it is linked. The exact same thing happens to me sometimes, but not all the time. Only the left side of my left eye hurts a bit for a couple days after smoking. I dont cough or anything. Its not really visible but it hurts when i touch it or blink hard.
