  1. Hey was reading this in the paper yesterday the one of the Toronto papers, it was an artical was saying that Sir Richard Branson has offered a 25 million dollar prize to the first scientist who is able to find a way to extract carbon from our atmosphere. I think this is awesome hopefully they will be able to pull up some real results with this contest

Heres a link to an artical

  2. This is very interesting. Im telling this to my Chemistry professor at my local community college. He used to be one of the top science professors at MIT then he retired and moved to Texas. A few years later he decided he wanted to teach again so he started teaching at my local community college. His classes are always full and a blast and he is a genius. We were going over the way elements are extracted from our atmosphere last semester, so maybe he will have an idea.

  3. Grow lots of cannabis. Legalize hemp.

    Where's my 25 million?

  4. You.... never sease to amaze me, mister RastaMan...

  5. you have to sell the lots of cannabis you grow. then you can have 25 mil.

edit: what use is there in extracting carbon from the atmosphere? can anyone explain that?

edit2: the article says carbon dioxide, i can see a point in that.

  6. I was about to say...

as far as growing MALE HEMP PLANTS, yea, they would convert carbon dioxide to oxygen...

  7. if you look at the image on the bbc report, it looks like he wants to take the carbon dioxide and convert the carbon to oil.

  8. I got the solution to that one too.

    Give me my money!
