RH/Temp sensor placement, WHERE?

    I'm in So Cal my veg. room is about 5'x6'x8' my (T-5) 4' 6 bulb is about 2 inches above clone tops clones only 6" maybe 2-3 weeks old.
    So I'm get temps / RH readings from my sensor which I put right under the light 2" like plants with a little card board shield temp 88* & 29% RH.
    Reading seems way high compared to feel of room.

    Should I set the temp / RH sensor set away from lights to get REAL ambient Readings?Any help, I'd apprciate ?:confused:
