RH got a bit too low should I buck nugs?

  1. Rh got down into the high 30s and my buds are crisp to the touch almost crumbly but my stems aren't snapping should I go ahed and snip the buds off the stem finish manicure and start cure? Thoughts? Thanks in advance! 20221012_203759.jpg

  2. Wait until the leaves are crispy and the stems are crunchy. And I would even wait a day or two after the stems are dry enough to snap.

Just curious... why do you want to buck the buds immediately? I always cut the branches down to about 24" long and put them into 25 gallon plastic totes until I'm ready to trim the buds. I've always found that bucking the buds just makes the final dry trimming that much more of a pain in the ass.

  3. But then again I don't actually handle the buds when I trim. I just handle the stem, trim the buds, then snip them off into a Tupperware container full of dry trimmed buds. I'm pretty anal when it comes to trichome preservation, so I never actually hold the buds itself when I trim.
