Resisting the munchies!!

Discussion in 'General' started by hyerr, Oct 27, 2010.

  1. Everytime I burn, I tell myself beforehand.
"okay this time, I'm not going to eat anything and I'll go straight to bed"
But what do I end up doing? Eating everything in fucking sight. And I never seem to have enough.

Anyone else have this problem? Or do some of you know how to control the urge to not eat everything in the kitchen?

  2. Eat before you toke, problem solved.

Drink water if you get hungry.

  3. Indeed eat some before you toke.

Also, make sure you only have instant acces to healthy things like protein bars or fruit like grapes or banana's or what have you..

Drinking is also good, though I find water not cutting it if I really have munchies to fill me up, so I drink juice or something a bit more substational.

    GL :hello:

  4. Ive been sitting here for about a minute wondering what the hell word this is and what it means only to come to the conclusion that you just made up your own word.

    :smoke:

  5. Haha I think our boy was looking for substantial.

Anyways man like people said, eat before and exercise some self control. Weed makes you hungry, most commonly known side effect, you just gotta get over it.

  6. Its called a typo? Give the guy a break.

OP, i agree with the juice or soda idea. Also, have something healthy around to snack on, like almonds or carrots.

  7. Do what the first reply says to do and just drink water whenever you get the munchies, always helps me out and I've actually lost some weight from cutting back on all these munchies

  8. Does anyone else feel like eating a bunch after they toke takes away from the high?

  9. Ditto on the healthy foods at hand.

I do the same thing. I make sure to keep turkey sandwhich and some fruit close by so that i can munch on that if i get hungry. Try a peach. It...is....mindblowing!

  10. substantional made me laugh, but i knew where he was going with it!

but yeah man...i can never defeat the munchies, they always win

  11. Grapes are so good.

    Go for the grapes.

Lots of juice, water, and if you're still hungry drink soda...the fizz will fill you up :)

  12. If I eat just a little bit to satisfy my hunger I'll only drop a little bit off the high scale compared to eating, say a full sized dinner plate of deliciousness, which will surely sober me out within the half hour.

Always go with the healthy fruits and veggies =]

Cures the cottonmouth and tastes amazing, apples and peanut butter were my first munchies ever and will always be my favorite :D

  13. Yeah its tough ya just gotta try hard not to eat. Drinking something or having a piece of gum always helps.

    All you will ever need.

  15. Being of or having to do with a substation. Duh...

  16. I second this.
Fruit is good to eat when you're high!

Pomegranates are in season. Oranges are awesome. Mangoes make your high well higher.. You can smoke out of apples.. Ummm.. All signs point to fruit. Eat before or after, brotha! Munchies can be a good thing, if you're eating food that's good for you ;)

  17. i know right but right before i grab it i remember not to... i love when you blaze alone it makes you wanna blaze wit everyone lol im just smokin some frosty northern lights:)

  18. I actually lost weight with the help of weed, lol. Salads are way more delicious when baked ;) Also I drink LOADS of water and tea, keeps you full and its good for you. :smoke:

  19. I just resist eating when I smoke, I'll drink a lot (water, juice, tea), but not really eat. Unless of course its actually time for me to have a meal lol. I agree with McStonerpants, I've become healthier since smoking, my eating habits are a lot better, and you can REALLY taste how gross processed stuff is when high. I just stick to natural foods (fruits, veggies, meat, etc) cause it tastes SO much better, and is better for you :)
