havent been on here for a while, but this happened saturday downtown san jose at about 12:15pm in broad daylight. So i was going downtown to meet up with someone to smoke, i decided to take the light rail since it was about the same amount of time and then i wouldnt have to worry bout finding parking.. We get to the St James station and then the doors close and were headed to santa clara, where i wouldve gotten off anyway.. The driver says "Attention all passengers, please be prepared to show your ticket to deputy officers and uniformed fare inspectors" after that i was trippin bawls cause i had a pill bottle with 4 different sacks in it, and i didnt have a ticket(ive only got caught 2 times out of the 10 yrs ive been riding the light rail so my chances are usually pretty good)... I was also trippin more cause they never said it over the intercom like that, it was usually we would pull up to a stop, and thered be a sherrif and like 3 fare inspectors so running was generally always easy.. But anyway, i end up seeing someone i kinda knew on the light rail, so i gave them my stuff and prepared to run once the doors opened we got the the santa clara stop and the doors opened and i saw like 6 fare inspectors and 4 sheriffs blocking all the paths i pretended to get on my phone and talk to someone, and walked past the first fare inspector and she said "ticket please" and i just kept walking, then passed another, and the guy was like "sir give me your ticket please" and then i just started running down 2nd street and the fare inspector yells "we got a runner!" a sheriff started to give chase after me but then i heard him yell "FUCK" and then heard his car door close, so he was chasing me in his car at this point... i thought all was good and got to San Fernando, all i had to do was round the corner, head for third, and then i could cut through the businesses and clubs... well....stuff always sounds better in your head.... Right as i round the corner i see a SJPD car headed straight for me im pretty sure he didnt know about the chase and he didnt do anything when he first saw me running, but then he saw the sheriff turn the corner with his sirens on, and he turned his wheel heading straight for me well that freaked me the fuck out, i thought i was about to be hit by an SJPD car going 20 mph...so i turned around to try to head back to 2nd, and the sheriff was already out with his gun drawn pointed at me... so i just layed on the ground..got arrested by the sergeant i guess...then i got turned over to another sheriff the sheriff that i dealt with after the sergeant was really sick though, like he makes me have respect for SOME law enforcement out there(weird never thought id say that..) but yeah he took me in and then i had to wait at the station for 8 hours... A drunk dude comes in and he was YELLING for a doctor for like 2 hours and then he was yelling about voices he was hearing and that when he drinks the voices go away and he was becoming more sober....i was like uhhh whaaa? and then he would say shit like "yeah ill let you guyys beat me up, its ok, as long as were still friends", and other shit like "go ahead kick my ass, your my friend, thats what true friends do" except he was facing a wall talking casper... and there was this norteno dude that was in there for fighting he had blood all over his pants and some weirdo kept staring at him and he was threatening to kill him if he didnt stop staring, it was kinda lols. some of the sheriffs in there were funny, but they are the biggest assholes i know. I truly believe that drunk guy had mental problems cause he broke down and started crying asking for a doctor at one point and this sheriff says "the only thing you need is a bar of soap and a shower" they all laughed, and i did to, but then i was like damn thats really fucked up Got court Nov 30th... So yea, and to top it off the dude i gave my shit to apparently was in SF when i got out DJing a show, and gave my shit to someone he works with(cause he "got scared" and didnt want to get caught with it...he says...) He gave me the dudes number and i called, disconnected number.. i went downtown yesterday to blaze some blunts with the homies and saw this girl that does the same job as him,(walks around selling cologne and perfume) i just acted as an interested customer and then got to talking about this person the dude i know allegedly gave my stuff to.. well according to her that dude got hit by a car and hasnt been in for the last 2 days, which makes me believe the dude i gave it to might be telling the truth but at the same time i think he might just be a tweeker making up some bullshit hes trying to convince himself is true.. i just told the dude he has till friday to get me my shit, i also talked to other people he works with and im gonna see if any of it was true by going directly to the guy he said he gave my shit to if the smell of bullshit gets stronger someones gonna owe me something come friday..

Hey at least you didn't get those extra possession (and potentially distribution) charges added on to the evasion charge
I agree with the above ^^^ posters. Glad you are safe. The mentally ill are almost as discriminated against as midgets, no lie... After blacks being discriminated against, then comes the overweight and obese who are laughed at, then comes gays who are discriminated against and hated, then the mentally ill who are feared, them people who are in wheelchairs who are discriminated against and condescended to, then people like midgets and dwarves and women with beards etc. who are laughed at. Anyway any kidding aside, the mentally ill need to be taken seriously when they need to see a doctor because they are suffering just as real pain as physical pain. It is cruel what the cops were putting him through. Many suicides could've been prevented by police in jails. This is a serious problem. My friend is an advocate who goes to the police to train them on compassion and the rights of the mentally ill and how to prevent suicides. I really value people like her who work will belligerent officers even trying to get them to see the light. She is bipolar BTW, but they don't know that. I remember one time I was going through trauma when I was alone in another state (away from home). I was seriously dehydrated and in need of additional medication (I am bipolar) and I was suffering. Where I was, there wasn't any phone books, so I could't call a cab to take me to the hospital ER which I felt I needed, so I called 911 and asked for an ambulance as I was thinking how gratefully I would pay for it. Yes my situation wasn't dire and ambulances are in short supply, but I felt I needed one. The ambulance and two police cars showed up for one seriously dehydrated woman and the officer started questioning me. One of the first things I was asked was if I was on any medication. At the time I was on only one - Prozac. When he heard I was on Prozac he waved the ambulance away. I felt so miserable and now I had no ride to the hospital. The officer took me to the station, I didn't know I didn't have to go with him at the time. The first thing he does is to call my husband to inquire as to the state of my mind, kinda like how crazy is your wife? Hubby said I was fine and I talked to hubby and he talked to the officer asking if I could be taken to the airport, since I no longer wanted to be in that state regardless of how dehydrated I was. So I got a ride and drank water at the airport and calmed myself and went home. There were other extenuating factors I haven't mentioned in my story for personal reasons, but it is accurate, albeit it has some holes, so if it doesn't sound right, that is why.
