Resin Glands or Infestation?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Mlrx, Aug 9, 2017.

  1. Hello,

I have these images posted in a separate thread, but wasn't getting many responses since the topic was different.

I have noticed these on only three of my leaves. There are tiny black dots that can be scrapped off with my nail. I can't seem to find anything in relation to what I am experiencing, but came across a post in a thread (can't remember the thread name) where someone said, "Leaves can produce resin as a protection when experiencing higher temperatures."

There are no dots/balls underneath the leaves which makes me think it isn't an infestation, but I am not 100% sure. Has anyone experienced this?

I am posting a picture of the worst leaf of the three and two of the whole plant.
