so i've been using my dbv for a week now and the tube is slightly brown and the wand is dark brown. can someone help me with how to clean my dbv and if I could use isopropyl alcohol to get the resin? im not exactly sure how to get the resin. do i just soak my pieces in isopropyl alcohol and then let all the alcohol evaporate? do i add salt to the isopropyl? and what percentage isopropyl alcohol do i need to get? i've been hearing 91% and 99%.
Best ISO you can get. (at least 91%) Disassemble wand into component pieces. Hold finger over hole and use eyedropper to put iso into mouthpiece , Shake, drain onto a dinner plate. rinse it warm soapy water and then clear water. Repeat with hose. Repeat with wand. Repeat with screen. Let dry and reassemble. Use the long pick that came with purchase to help seat screen. Let plate dry for a few hours. Scrape plate with razor blade. You now have wand hash. Make smoke sandwich with herbs & hash You MUST learn the drill. It is your weapon of choice.
Thank you for making it simple and clear for me! Would I be able to vape the resin in the dbv? Or do I have to smoke it from a pipe/bong or put resin in a joint/blunt?
You will see all sorts of ways folks use DB. I like low and slow. Find your sweet spot that gives good vapor. Mark that spot with magic marker. Yank button off and set mark straight up at the 12 o clock position. Start your sessions at 11. Give it a relatively quick WA WA suck, sort of like pulling on milkshake straw. Each suck clears chamber and allows new vapor to form. Don't pull as deep as you can but hold it longer. I stir bowl in between each hit and use the time to count to 10 for timing my hit. Let it out slow and enjoy. You don't have to take another hit till you are ready. After 4 or 5 hits turn knob to 12. When bowl is filled with twigs because you melted the flesh of the bones you know you are doing good. A couple of final hits at 1 and you will notice the "popcorn taste or smell". Bowl is cached. You should never have black. If too dark don't save, but pull quicker. Slower pull means chamber doesn't clear and you get combustion. Takes me about 40 minutes to kill a bowl. You need to get a jar that seals to save your duff. (ABV or used material) to save for cooking,firecrackers, tincture or hash. I see dudes with bongs creating huge clouds but they exhale them quickly and are only painting the air. (IMHO) I like the low & slow way and the only clouds are the one I exhale and they are usually pretty faint because I consumed the meds instead of blowing them in the wind..
