yeah, i went and picked it up on tues. i've just been playing leon's campaign a bit. Not too far in I don't think. Last I remember I was on top of a gunshop shooting a fat fucker in the face before i died and just put it down for the day lol.

Im on the final boss for Leon right now, and let me tell you, if you have played RE2 you should know what the boss is like.

haha okay. i know a lot of people that get real serious about their games and when you're not as good as them they get angry and i'm just like haha yes i did, pre-ordered a little while ago. sounds like you're gonna have a good time. i haven't tried playing high yet, i doubt it would help with my skill lol

Really contemplaing getting this. I love the horror genre and Ive been a huge RE fan since 1. thats why i dont play it anymore, 4 was good, nice change of pace. But i feel it ruined RE. They should have released it as another project and kept going with the REAL RE series (1,2,3 code veronica) those were real survival HORROR games and not action. When i play RE or even Silent Hill, i wanna get the shit scared out of my ass... just doesnt happen anymore

A mansion, police station, island. Now the outbreak has officially outbroken and paramilitary groups are fighting it from under the radar. Where as before virtually no one knew about the underhanded dealings of umbrella. To me it makes sense the genre went to shooter/horror. The sheer amount of ops working on the cases and agents make sense to see more munitions etc etc. Besides what from R.E. 2 is left that can really surprise and scare fans and or ppl in the story. It makes sense from this stand point. As there is no mystery behind who they are fighting. They know their enemy and know what must be done. Why pretend that there shouldn't be more health drops or ammo lying around when most places you go to have had an attempted sweep by bsaa (hence solider zombies) and whole villages and cities compromised by the virus. I know it's sad the old terrible camera and dark room/ I'm running out of ammo is gone. But it makes sense we can move better and the enemies no longer die with one well placed shot you have to exterminate the virus in them. Enough to where they cant hold a stable structure and break down. Ask me it Opened R.E. Up. Now to get these fanboy game raters to realize this. Besides if you go off game magazines then it's already to late to save you. Play Leons story in r.E.6 definitely some scares still left in this game
damn that does make sense never thought of it like that. You've opened me up man haha, but on the real tho I do just miss the real horror of the older games. Like silent hill, you had no map just a radio that got static when enemies were close by and the fog and environments were just horrifying. I used to stop playing because id be so scared.

Just got this game today. I think it's pretty epic. I always loved the resident evil series. I'm still early in the game, I'm in still in the sewers/subway station on Leon's campaign. Haven't tried any online co-op play, my internet is so shitty here, so there's not much point. I'm running out of bullets fast and find it really annoying trying to get headshots. It's like, there's no point in shooting 'em unless you go for a headshot. Anyone know how you can use your skill points? I'm really stuck on that one... lol...
