rep question

  1. probably a dumb question but...

when you're looking at the rep you've recieved under User CP, whats the difference between a purple rectangle for the rep icon and a green one?

  2. Red is neg rep, gray is neutral and green is good!

  3. A purple icon if I'm not mistaken means the rep has come from a user who has not yet recieved enough rep themselves for the rep they have given you to count toward your total.

Conversely, a green icon means the rep has come from a user with sufficient rep, and thus has been added into your rep total.

I think that's correct, but if I'm wrong feel free to correct me someone :)

  4. A purple square is either plus or minus rep from someone who has not been around long enough, or does not have enough rep themselves to affect you rep points (you'll have to figure out for yourself from the message they left with it if it was positive or negative). Green means positive rep was left, red means negative rep was left.

  5. "purple" squares are neutral...they give u neither plus or neg rep...usually its when a member that has little to no rep gives you rep

there was a discussion on this a while ago...prolly almost a year ago...
