friend of mine told me i shoudl remove teh shade leaves to alow more light to get to the colas, is this a good idea, and how woudl i go about doing this?
No no no no... stop. no. dont! The leaves will finish their job and yellow and fall off when they are ready. If they are blocking the branches then just push them down.
