This is sorta a topping question, not really, just dont know where else to ask Closeup is a inside picture of the PPP fem in top left corner.( Top right: Hashberry) This is 19 days of flower, from first positive pistils. Some leaves, a lot are yellowing (mostly small bottom leaves) and all these tiny buds are forming that probly wont do much. Today gave the first flush and fresh nutes so dont know what that will do. Would it generally help to remove the little inside buds so more enrgy goes to the bigger colas? Or more "N"? Or leave her alone? REALLY worried she wont have any leaves left in 40 more days! Giving Flora bloom 16ml/ Flor Micro 8 ml per gallon..every other time supplementing Botanicare BlastOff. Mostly water one day, nute the next,
you're far enough in flower that you're pretty much stuck with what you have. adding more N is going to slow down bud growth. You should have made sure they were topped out on N before flower started. Also, removing smaller budsites will help create larger top colas, but you are suppose to do this before 2 weeks into flower
Thanks dexorated, first time..sorry. So dont feed more Nitrogen and i should have already removed the small ones, but.... maybe it still would be good to do the removing?
I am curious as to why adding more nutes will slow the growth of the buds, dont the plant need nutrients trough out its life span.
Exactly. P & K are more for fruiting and flowering. You just want a higher concentrate of P & K, and low-to-none N.
So i still need to know if its ok to remove the small inner sites this late in flower, 20 days now. Will it help at this point?
I wouldn,t remove shit not now use the small popcorn buds & leaves to make hash waste nothing,I no wot you mean but you should,ve done it b 4 flowering or at most 1wk into we learn by our mistakes but me personally i,d leave em & add 2 leaves 2 make hash l8trz m8 keep growing Budbhoy
Well 2 days later, flushing seems to have worked. Dryness in the leaves is gone, everything about her looks healthy, lush and glistening again. I think maybe 2 much shallow feeding and never flushing had built salts up to a dehydration level. So wont remove anything, but in the future will remove some of the small inside leaf clusters at start of 12/12, to focus more on main stems. Anyway Yaaay she is up again n lookin sexy
This is at about day 39 or 40. Had pollinated a few smaller budsites on 2 hashberry and the one PPP. On all 3 plants, the seeded bud leaves are turning yellow. It is a deficient looking yellow, like maybe potassium deficient, but only on the pollinated buds and on all the plants. And yes there is a slight tip burn on the PPP from some over nutes. Is this yellowing the result of normal seeds maturing or do I need to pay close attention to a problem here? It is green in leaf center ,yellowing to the outside, and the v eins are holding green. Kinda variegated looking, I guess Thanks for any advice, please still feeding florabloom and florMICRO GH series with a occasional shot of Botanicare BlastOff
Come to think of it, the leaves look like mosaic virus,Ive seen in garden vegetables, but its only the small leaves in the buds
Good idea and Thanks..Its done http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plants-problems/235063-40-days-flower-sick-normal.html#post2563582
Glad that all that worrying was for nothing. About 6-7 days from harvest and she looks good to me. Straight water for a week now. ( I have never seen this plant but found this neat picture while browsing and thought someone may enjoy it)
