The problem: Now, I don't know what to do to get it out. It's not something I can easily scrape at, and I'm hesitant to use things like baking-soda, wd-40, soap, or trying to burn it off.
    Any tips?

The story: So I was doing a standard clean of my new Argo. I wiped everything down with an isopropyl-tipped Q-tip (the vaporizer upside down when I did the chamber). I then wiped everything down with a dry Q-tip to soak up ant alcohol left in it. And finally, I ran a 10minute burn-off cycle. After the burn-off cycle was completed, I noticed some little pieces of dust left from the Q-tips. I went to brush them out with <this> brush (the top one in the picture). What I didn't realize was the unfortunately low melting temperature of the plastic used for the brush.
A little bit of smoke started coming out of the vape and I knew I fucked up. I looked in the chamber under light and saw melted plastic. I didn't want to believe it. I checked the brush and it looked fine. I was confused.
I tried scraping it out with the stir stick that the vape came with, and it came out like melted plastic. I continued to try to scrape away at it until I finally gave up.
I looked up ways to remove plastic, and I found that nail polish remover commonly works. So I dipped a Q-tip in some nail polish remover and tried to get it out. Nothing happened. Then, while I was researching what to do, I found that nail polish remover doesn't work on nylon, which is why I now think that the plastic is nylon.

Edit: I had a new idea of taking out the battery, and slowly pouring boiling water into it while trying to scrape it out (then waiting for it to dry thoroughly). My biggest concern would be pieces of plastic going down an air hole.

    Attached Files:

  2. Get out your rotary tool and buff as much of it out as you can, then stop worrying about it or at this point, just stop worrying about it.

  3. Brush from the plastic? : I had thought this with my vape and switched to a bamboo tooth pick

Buy another IMO as you don't know what else is screwed

    good luck

  4. lol wtf toss thaat shit :smoke:

  5. Get some type of wood rod or needle tool and scrape it out. Set your device at the highest temperature. Ideally use a small hose connected to a a vacuum pump and suck it out. If not you could wipe it out with a Q tip. Clean it out with a solvent like alcohol. Then cycle it on high a few times.

    Or buy another one.
