Hey guys, I'm not sure Lollipopping is the proper term. either way just a quick question on if you guys remove the smaller/lower bud sites like the one I've circled in this picture? First time trying LST/manicuring its going pretty good so far. I feel like I could/should remove some more fan leaves?
I remove growth from the lower 1/3 of the plant - any branch that won't make it to the top canopy gets removed. Good luck - nice looking plants.
ok 10-4 Mick, I think I'll go ahead and remove some of those lower bud sites. I'm about 5 days since the 12/12 flip do you generally try to have all of the trimming done before flower? thanks brother
Usually but I strip them in the first part of flower. I do it at the stem. I generally make clones from these.
Update: thanks for the help/advice @MickFoster I went ahead and removed a fair amount of the lower growth/fan leaves/bud sites that didn't look like they would really amount to anything. here is how things are looking right now. any input or tips welcome. Like I said this is my first time trying LST and trimming, I've always just let the plants do there thing up until now. filled about 1/4 grocery bag check it out!
