I remember when I first opened my ING savings account and the interest rate was around 4.25%, when you could actually earn quite a bit of money and you didn't even have to put it into a CD. Now the rates are at 1.10%....it just keeps going down, down, down. I still use ING, it's just hardly worth it anymore. Anyone else have a high interest savings account? What/who do you use?
haha, I suppose I should have considered the fact that there are a lot of younger people on this forum.
401k is great, but it's nice to have a savings account that you can rely on for emergencies and you won't be penalized for withdrawing funds.
