  1. Ok me and a few buddies of mine are leaving our current place of residency. We're going to pack up our shit, buy a van and mosey our way to the West Coast. Oregon is turning out to be the selected state. Its laws seem the most fitting. Hopefully we can find a friend who'll put us up for a few weeks so we can get some jobs and get our own place. After we've aquired a house, we're prolly gonna start growing seeing as how its legal there.

I wanted to see if anyone in the city had any thoughts at all. If you think it can work, or if you have any ideas on how we can make this a smoother operation. Heck if anybody lives along our path that we're taking, we'll be leaving from Iowa and going straight west through Nebraska, then Colorado( stop in colorado springs for a few weeks) head up to salt lake city, and then straight into Portland most likely.

    Please please please!!!
if anyone can help in any way
We Are a band of 6 and we can make this work.
But not with out the combined thoughts of you.

One last time; Please help Us

  2. right on boyz! come on down. if your daignosed by a real doc your in! jobs aint great, but the country is fabulous. ill never leave here. dead center of the state is bend oregon. snow skiing, watersports, hunting & fishing, hiking, climbing, shit man we got it all. 5 local smoke orgs where memberships can get you smoke for as little as a 180 u.s. donation. you see card holders cant buy it but can donate in trade so as to speak. its never 100% legal as the feds can do as they please on any federal land. keep it low and follow the rules and oregon will allow you to grow it faster than you and a friend can smoke it! looking at all state regs it looks to me like ore allows the most. 6 mature and 18 under 1 foot and in veg. and 1.5 elbows of dried nugs. thats a shitload. and a grower here can arrange to grow for as many as 4 patients. so multiply all of this by 4 and rent that u-haul. were the same distance from each oregon border give or take a few miles.
the high altitude and cold nights bring on serious levels of thc in outdoor crops but can be devastating at times. auto flowers started late are a good choice due to a short season. i wouldnt bother unless you have a green house. its all about indoors and secrecy as there are theives all about this weak economy. drop me a thread and lets talk
i cant hook you up with a home but will recommend the "high" desert! -D-

  4. sorry i had to duck out. so do any of ya 6 have a chronic pain or justifying condition? you will need all medical records to prove it! get them before you roll or it may be a bitch when you get here. i can reccommend a dr. and mmj clinic here if you have some documentation. or you dont have to be a patient to be a grower for as many as 4 if they are willing to name you as their grower. many advertise for patients to get into the legal end. thats 24 plants in flower and 72 non-flowering under a foot tall x wide. 6 lbs dried in posession, awsome huh? this is a turn key buisness environment right now if you got lights and clones. all you need is a house and you can buy here cheap now 1600+ feet for 58-75K or there are so many rentals right now that you can get into a place fairly easy. if you want an outdoor area id say mid to south costal range but the areas are infested already and you could get robbed. i say indoors, 4 patients, and try to be one of those patients yourself. i picture you all right now going six of us with four crops each 976 plants, holy shit fire up the dodge were headed for ory-gone. well it aint quite like that as the six, (4 patient) sites have to be different locations. hypotheto-theorhetically ha! ha! you 6 could have some good options to do well in oregon, see MAMAS CLINIC. THE DALLES, PORTLAND AND BEND they can and will treat you right if you qualify. other places may even be able to get you some stinky clones but MAMAS is a clinic (not a club or cafe).
as long as a grower is on the card holders list you are not likely to be hassled for LESS than 97 plants (96) unless you get real stupid. but because your med. issues are protected cops can only call to see if the site is a legal site. period! if the site is legit they can do little to nothing too you but some times a wise crack may think its ok to (spot check) but w/o a warrant only the feds can be very disruptful to you. keep it clean and oregon will keep you ( MITIGATED ) thats pain releif terms for stoned as you choose to be! i know that i will grow less than what is allowed because i cant smoke it as fast as it grows. the reason you are allowed so many is not that you would smoke that much but that half to 2/3rds of your clones are to be bartered away for donations aka power bills for lights and growing costs other than labor which is not negotiable under the law. you can even trade away finished meds. i dont know how many times you can get reimbursed for cost but that is not an issue as there is no record, no income, no taxes etc. CHEK OUT THE ENTIRE LEGAL CONTENTS AT THE OREGON DEPT OF HUMAN SERVICES OR ODHS THEY ARE THE ISSUING ADMINISTRATION AND YOU WILL BE PROCESSED IN ABOUT 3 MONTHS BUT ARE LEGAL AS SOON AS FEES ARE PAID AND DOCUMENTED WITH A REGISTERED RETURN MAIL NOTIFICATION THAT THE DEPT RECIEVED THE $. IF YOU GET POPPED DOING SOMETHING DUMB IT CAN BE 6 MONTHS TO GET RENEWED DEPENDING ON THE CHARGES. IT COULD BE REVOLKED PERMANANTLY FOR SOME IM SURE. GOOD LUCK AGAIN FRIENDS. -D-
p.s. presently we have over 38000 registered and another 12000 or so in processing, gotta love this state!

  5. sorry dude, wrong thread!

  6. Wow thanx man. this is good shit. does anyone else have some ideas. What about La Grande, hows growing around there?

  7. Hey man not to sidetrack the thread but i have a question. I pretty much asked in another thread what's the best state to live in concerning laws on marijuana and people were telling me California and Colorado were. So are Oregon's laws better? You said you researched it, so i figured you would know. I'm looking to move to. Best of luck on the move to Oregon.

  8. hope your move goes well. just to let you know though jobs suck here, economy is shits cause of the taxation on business in the state. its the best for a lot of stuff but getting a job can be quite a bitch. no sales tax is nice but they butt fuck you pretty good on your income taxes. really pretty state though, lots to do and great for mj

  9. Holy shit! My girlfriend and I are moving to Portland from SE Iowa in the next couple weeks, by the middle of March!

  10. Just try to get a job as quick as you can, thats all i can really tell you.

  11. My advice is to make sure the van is solid before you go. That's a long trip and an old van breaking down would surely be less than desirable. I'd also save a bunch before you go. Gas is expensive as hell right now.

  12. fuk a job bro, just do what I do. I have a dog missing some legs and I have a wheelchair I designed that makes it look like I am missing a leg. So I hang out where coorporate people will feel really bad about us and pan handle...
I make 4-600 dollars a day usually...why work when you can be like me? Just kidding, but I thought about this because I am watching frirnds struggle etc...
Yeah, guess what, I am moving to OR too and linked up with Cannabis Compassion and met some chill informed people. Me and my friend are looking at houses... we are really starving for culture, community and what life is SUPPOSED to be like but we are in the sterile burbs and the urban sprawl is outta hand :(
Anyway, when I get there I will hit you up and give you a NUG...safe travels
can you imagine what life will be like having an elbow and a half???legally? Peace

  13. ever consider california?

  14. Too expensive.

  15. haha i like you avatar by the way spyro.
but im pretty sure theres some cheap housing in cali you just gotta look for it, that is, if you were determined to be here. i guess in reality you could live more comfortably almost anywhere else though..
    definitely consider myself blessed!

  16. Anywhere that's not in cali. The only good thing it has going for it is lax cannabis laws, And relocating for weed is IMO stupid. A few buddies of mine moved to portland a couple year back, they love it there. I've never heard anything bad about colorado(except some shit about having to carry a gun when out in the wild). If I were you it would be somewhere in Colorado or Oregon.

  17. thats not aaallll we got goin for us!! forgot to mention what there is to do here in cali? its a beautiful state..
i can go surfing and snowboarding in the same day with where i live. how many people can say that? ;)

  18. Well hot damn! send me a friend request bro. ill hit u up when we get there. Maybe we cmatch a bowl or two lol. Seriously though thats exciting. Networking is key, potentially even business opportunity, u know what im sayin?

  19. Nice, I can definitely agree that central Oregon is beautiful. My ex husband was from Eugene, and we had friends in Portland.

I picked up a beautiful windchime in verdegris bronze in some little hippyish mall in Portland =)
