Just like the topic title says, I want to find a reliable source of information about cannabis use and psychosis. I tried to google it and it all lead to sites which seemed quite bias.

A stoner-site is generally gonna be bias too though.

P.S I may have to quit toking but when Im high I feel better not worse so Ive never thought about it.

    P.S.S I'm so high.

P.S.S.S Not psychosis relating to schizophrenia or drug induced psychosis.

  2. just delete this thread, kthxbye

  3. I don't understand, you want information about cannabis and psychosis but NOT drug induced psychosis, nor information on psychosis stemming from underlying conditions that may be brought out by cannabis?

So you just want us to find some information on how cannabis and unrelated psychosis are related? What?

  4. see, itd be much easier if he deleted this thread before he regrets saying something so confusing

  5. lol'd at this. :smoke:

  6. Whatever the question is I'll post this anyway :)

THC may cause temporary psychosis, if administered alone. If administered with CBD (as is normally found in herbal cannabis) then the psychosis is reversed. This is why Marinol has such uncomfortable effects for many people.

ScienceDirect - European Psychiatry : S26-03 The phenomenology of acute THC-psychosis

  7. Very interesting. I'll read up on that.

Not sure what you're trying to get at there. I've read some studies that have tried to link psychosis to smoking cannabis, but they have all been debunked. Also, P.S. stands for Post Script. So P.S.S.S. ... just think about it
