Regular vs. Autoflowering

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by sachidananda, Nov 25, 2012.

  1. Hey guys,

    Simple question:

Considering how easy autoflowering varieties are to grow, why don't more people prefer to grow them? Is there a sacrifice in terms of high/quality/yield or something?

The most thorough answer wins! :hello:

  2. just a new school vs old school thing. but the photo you can manipulate; can't do that anywhere near as much with an auto (yet). but why would you want to manipulate an auto anyway? you want an auto cus you can set it and forget it.

Dont listen to him ...autos are not set it n forget it...it takes tge same care and attention nutes n enviroment as a photoperiod plant....it just finishes way fast and no special light schedule is needed...

  4. From what I have read, autos have lower THC potency along with pollinated female cannabis.
The % of THC lower I do not know. Still plenty to get you high though.

Autos also are set timeframe, photo you can veg for desired.
