Reflector question

    Hello

    I just bought a new reflector for my grow room. The Daystar Air-cooled, I have a 1000w HPS. will this reflector cast more light to the sides or to the long end. My question is on which way to orient it in my closet which is 8 foot by 3 foot. so i get maximum light for the 8 foot wide length

    you'd want to hang it so that the long sides of the reflector are parallel to the long sides of your closet. i went threw the same thing with my 400, being that my cab is 4' wide x 30" deep.
