i recently began noticing soil mites, small and reddish brown, coppery, and they just go in and out of the soil, they're large enough to see with the naked eye and appeared slowly after it had started raining. they are currently residing with my plants and have not actually attempted to climb on them. the plants also at the moment have shown no signs of spidermite damage nor eggs. should i just leave the mites? or just go ahead and kill them?
