So yesterday at hempfet I was at the Silika glass booth and the guy who started the company was there. we chatted and I noticed some roors he had on the table, after awhile i left to go scope out other booths. after spotting some booths with roor's the people told me they were not german made. So back to the silika booth and i kept my eyes on this red crown roor. the bottom of it was stamped" Made in Germany" SO I hope this is a real legit roor. I have the pic of it on my insta gram ( calculatingsin ) Honestly I think my illy tube is smoother. the hole in the roor bowl is huge. I dunno What ones better now that I own both tubes. I sure hope that german roor is real, I cant see the guy from silika glass bending me over.
That's the way roor germany makes their bowls, you have to get one of their official glass screens from here or edit. Most screens in america will be too small. The main reason I like german roors other than aesthetically they just look better than roortech is they make a good diffuser downstem. They seal the bottom end which makes it function better than the ones where the bottom is open. I wouldn't smoke out of a tube like this or that illy without a diffusing downstem. You can also try alex K showerhead downstem or a sov gridded one. Makes a huge difference in a plain tube. I was at hempfest on saturday for a little while. I flew out on friday and went to hempfest and the quave show on saturday. Funny thing is, there's all this jank ass glass at hempfest and just a block up the street one of the world's best glass artists, Quave, had a show where there was almost 1/2 million dollars worth of glass there. The cheapest piece was 9.5k. All those people just didn't know that Quave, Coyle, Joe Peters, and Punty were a block away lol,
I Did see artist all around the park outside a block away so the down stem is just straight like a straw. just a tube which i thought was kinda weird.
I have been to the last 9 hempfest and one thing is its gone corporate! artist use to be able to walk into the park with cases and attendees could ask these artist "hey, what cha got?" but now every seller has to have a "vendor permit" honestly I wasnt even planning on going this year. I had a friend whos never been and so I went to guide him. I guess its chill but I have how money greedy hempfest became. even last year when the seattle copswere handing out doritios chips and laughing at the people. wake up people.
yeah I'll upload pics of the 2 I have. But yeah, the normal roor downstem is basically a tube with a joint on one end and their logo stamped on it. It was my first time there....marination station is the shit, my buddy took me over there, the food is outrageously good. I'm def gonna try to fly out, maybe next year around hempfest.
Yeah but how do they host the event financially? None of that stuff is free and I saw very few people donating the paltry 10 bucks they were asking for. I donated a 20 and the lady who took the money was in shock. People need to be paid to organize, and secure the event and also to clean up afterwards and I'm sure the city gets a cut from zoning/permits etc.

I get that and thats how i use to think years ago. Now its soo mainstream local car dealerships sponser it gets so much local coverage that a lot of local businesses help and in return get advertisement. they dont need to collect permits on everything thats how working inseattle is, you need a permit to do anything in that city.

I'm from philly we don't have medical or rec and most people here don't even dab let alone have access to clear....your bitchin falling on deaf ears bro...haha, but honestly just enjoy having the freedom to smoke out by that beautiful water, that alone is worth the religious nut bags screaming in your face, the lines, the smell emanating from people who have liberated themselves of the ideology of hygiene and soap. believe me traffic in this city and the price to live here is nuts.. over crowded everywhere. I understand a lot of people would put up with this to be here, however back in the 1990's seattle was awesome now its changing. big government you need a permit to cut down a rotting tree you need a permit to do anything and its take 8 months and thousand of dollars. Mean time winter storm comes and the tree falls onto house. thanks big government. seattle has turned into such a douche bag city. I mean it does have its pro's but beware it has its down falls. the main freeways goes from 4 lanes and bottle necks down to 2 lanes through the city! who the fuck thought of that is an idiot. worse thoughtout city as far as infastruture goes I live down by kent, maple valley area.
