Red and Blue?

Discussion in 'Lighting' started by dbennett, Nov 8, 2019.

  1. Quick question, I know Blue for Veg and Red for flowering. I have a Kong’s light that has two switches. Right now I’m Blue for veg. When it’s time for flowering do I just turn on the Red spectrum as well along with Blue spectrum or turn off Blue and turn on just Red? Thank you

  2. Blue Veg
    Red Flower

If they both are capable of being turned on at the same time - I would run them both for the whole grow!! (Would work in theory!)
Same as a duel spectrum bulb, no?
To be safe, keep BOTH on for flower though :) Good luck mate

  5. Blue for veg, both for flower.
Do not turn off the blue because it will deprive plants of needed energy.
