  1. Sup everyone, been a bit due to work being extremely busy, but wanted to drop a line and get some thoughts..

I’ve got 4 plants ready for the flip to 12/12 ( 2 grape dawg and 2 plum crazy ) I have topped both multiple times and have some healthy suckas. I tied them down again today and am about to switch them to flower under the wonderful HLG 550v2 ..

Question is, should I mess with doing a scrog on these? Or do y’all think I should just let them do their things at this point?

Here’s a pic before the training today.

  2. Scrog it, get the most out of your lights. Also give some support for those upcoming beefy colas!

  3. I actually have two of the HLG 550s. May stick the other in there and really let them go

  4. I wouldn't bother with the ScrOG, they've already filled out the area and you have a nice even and thick canopy already. Being able to move plants around is a big advantage and the benefit of ScrOG has already been achieved with your training work

  5. Even know he has done some training doesn’t mean there wouldn’t still be the benefit of adding a trellis..

  6. I would add the trellis and continue to veg until you can’t see the bottom of your tent.

  7. Tell me what the benefit will be and you'll change my mind.

    Imo
He's done a perfect job of training, all those leaders are already evenly spaced out. A screen isn't going to space them out any more evenly than they already are. I don't think a screen would be of any benefit at all

I'm a ScrOG advocate myself, I believe it's a great way to grow, it makes all the training so much easier, but it's already been done in this case.

This is my current ScrOG I have growing now, 6 Gorilla Glue clones under there
