Recommend some Auto's that are generally reliable?

Righto so kinda as the title suggests really!

So a lot of us that grow autos already know that they can be a bit of a shit show at times with, well what i'm calling "reliability".
Im not talking the usual newbie 'well it said it was 6 week seed to harvest but its been 7 weeks... this Bubblebutt SuperHappy AK9003 sucks balls'
But the more experienced reliability issues!
ya know 1 plant looks like a 100% Sativa, another looks like a 70/30 Indica, Hell 2 grows back i had one that quite literally looked full on Indica on half and about 80/20 Sativa the other half it was like a frikin Pizza Hut half & half pizza!
I've had multiple strains say 80cm-1m height, one example: had 2 out of a 6 pack kinda finish around there (still taken with a pinch of salt like the time scale) 3 out of the other 4 just managed to keep contained in a 600x600x1500mm (2'x2'x5') tent. The last had to pull, just no way I would have managed to beat it back hard enough and not have bad things happen!

Problem is Im a slow grower, 1 plant per grow, 2 a year... Growing a fair amount of years and am experienced in growing and have a good dwc setup that works. I get good results, both yields and overall grows.
Bottom line, out of the 'limited' strains and seeds I have grown, is the average consistency of autos for most others about 1:3 'as advertised' so to speak?
Or am i making bad seed / seedbank choices?

Im looking through the seedbank with my required filters:
    Auto fem,
    Indica heavy,
    ~1m height,
~8 week to harvest (i expect them to go about 16 weeks, that seems more usual)

I then narrow my search the usual way... look at the bud porn and pick a name that sounds good LM AO!

I don't really skimp on the cost either, i mean i dont just choose a 6 pack over a single seed for $20 if the 1 seed reads to be better, but even then it's Meh!
If i was selling a seed for $20 i would take the time to make sure it sounded worth it haha!
I still like to have 3 the same strain/breeder so i can get some comparison anyway.

But to save me, and possibly others from such pain in finding the right seeds.
Do any of you higher turnover auto growers have any bank/strain recommendations for being pretty reliable with consistency?
ya know like 1:7 or 1:10 is a dud so top speak lol

  2. Early Miss Auto. I grew a couple last year. Fast, really fast. Still bulked good.

Indica heavy, hardy plant considering I did them outdoor.

Very short veg and quick flower. Start to finish was JUST over 2 months, like 70 something days if I remember.

For the 4 I've grown from the 5 pack, they rock. Will be popping one for another outdoor this year.

  3. I'm not sure what methods you use, but I have used beans fromm "Crop King" in all of my last 5 grows. I typically buy 10 seeds at a time and I have just recently had 2 fail, but I am to blame for germinating them below 72f.

Crop King is so confident that they offer a free replacement guarantee if you don't get an 80% germination rate. FWIW, I only grow autos and I too have some Early Miss going and they are a favorite.

Give them a try and follow their instructions to the letter.

  4. I haven't had a bad outcome using Mephisto genetics. I've only grown Sour Stomper, Creme De La Chem and Samsquanch OG all were in the range of 3-4 ounces when in my curing jars. All of them grew healthy and around 3-1/2 to 4' tall or 105-120cm.

  5. Thank's for the replies so far peeps.
Was hoping this would be a kinda self expanding resource hense why i'm not really replying much XD

however, I'm really sorry @ dropinbiking... I could have sworn i replied to you about having grown 'Swiss Miss' photos way back when i was just starting and had good results, along with something possibly about shared genetics!
Must have had a reefa and just thought about the reply :weed:
