  1. Hi GC
I am growing 3 plants in a small DIY cabinet (15"x22"x30") and im looking to buy a LED light. It Is a really small area.
I would like to buy a light that is fucntional for veg and flower as well.
    What are your recommendations?
    Thanks.

  2. I would personally use this as it can do veg and flower. http://www.advancedledlights.com/3w-led-grow-lights/new-diamond-series-xml-10w-cree-xml/

I'd use the 150 watt version in that space. I used the 350 on it's own before with two plants (in way too big of a tent) and they did great in veg and flower. I now use it as supplemental lighting with mh/hps, but of course in a much bigger space.

It costs a pretty penny, but with limited space it could serve you really well.

  4. Part of my reason was because these are can be dimmed independently from each other, or just have one on if you'd like. It's versatile. As far as price, the OP didn't mention anything about budget. I had no reason to believe they needed a cheaper light. But you're right, they could get away with less. I just stick with more light being better if you can afford it (money, temp, space, etc.).

  5. Also I have the bigger 350 watt version which supposedly covers a 4 x 4 for flowering, but I still found it VERY beneficial to include a 400 watt hps in the space. So I still think they inflate their flowering space numbers a little bit, as well as veg.
