Recipe Conversion Ideas

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Kuda, Mar 28, 2012.

  1. So I want to make the following recipe into an edible. Any suggestions for converting it?

    • 1-1/2 cups butterscotch chips
    • 2/3 cup peanut butter
    • 3 oz. chow mein noodles, broken
    • 1/2 cup salted peanuts

    1. Place butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe container. Heat on 50% power for 3-5 minutes. Stir, and repeat, if necessary, until the chips are melted.
    2. Stir in the chow mein noodles and peanuts, breaking up the noodles as you do so.
    3. Drop by rounded tablespoonsful onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheets.
    4. Refrigerate 1-2 hours until hardened.

I'm thinking about maybe using some oil and making the peanut butter with some decarbed bud, but was hoping someone else might have some better suggestions.
  2. A nice strong glycerin tincture added to the recipe would give it a good, interesting texture by the time it finishes.
  3. Either a tincture like blackleaf said...

you could make a canna-oil from coconut oil, since it is a solid at room temperature, it shouldn't mess the texture up too much if you then replaced half of the peanut butter with it.
