Lately I've been thinking back on the great times ive had in mmo's and people I've met and played with. I used to play conquer online back when It was good, WoW for 4 years, and guild wars 1 for a little while. I really just miss the genre and although it isn't doing too well id love to find a decent mmo (f2p or p2p idc) that i can jump in and play with some cool people. Was thinking of renewing my EvE online or Tera account.

Gotta agree with Guild Wars 2, I never really get into MMO's but this game is very interesting. It's a total overhaul from the first one and works so much better. The graphics are sick and the way skills work makes it pretty fun. I also really like that you can solo or team against npc's and do quests and whatnot for xp and gear, take your guy into pvp for battles, or join into world versus world battles which is one of the coolest things. It's a massive map where people fight for their territory and try to expand, but it ends up being battles of 20-30 people on each side fighting it out for control.

WoW is same old same old. Still required to do a shit load load of dailies, long raids. It's just not appealing any more when you have a job, family and not the time to sit at the PC for 4-5 hours playing the game. GW2 is a good game, it's more suitable for those that want to pick up a game as and when they like, but without the feeling that they are letting their guildies down. And best thing is that the game is free to play, well, once you have paid for the game.
Yes it is...seeing the cities of metropolis and Gotham in a comic book doesn't even compare to seeing it in dcuo...personally I give the game a 10 out of 10 because I love dc comics
