  1. Sweet, I would love to get pulled over and get drug tested and go to jail for a fucking year.
    Fuck the government

  2. the law enforcement, government etc can all burn in fucking hell!!!!!

  3. Not all law enforcement/gov Im sure. Some must be against prohibition.

  4. Honestly, I've agreed with the majority of what Obama has done. This, however, is not one of them.

This kinda seems to come out of left field too, am I right?

I don't think anyone here agrees with this. Everyone here will complain, but we really should be emailing our congressmen, etc

  5. I can definitely see this happening.

  6. What's scary is that he still looks like a moron with the free passes he's getting.

Come on people. The POTUS is mostly a figurehead position. I bet I could ask Obama about this issue personally and he wouldn't have a clue of the implications. I'm sure parts of his staff that vetted the legislation know whats up... but there is no chance at all that he made this decision himself in full knowldege of the implications. It simply doesn't fit with his actions.

You don't tell the DEA to leave law abiding dispensaries alone and then turn around and go after the patient drivers. This has been Michigan law for a long time... people simply overlook how the law could be used to target unimpaired people. Nothing has changed where I live yet all of a sudden people are outraged. They didn't notice the implications either. People who smoke weed every day in Michigan don't know they're constantly at risk whether impaired or not... but you expect Obama to know?

    Really?

  8. Well at least I don't see my state on there. What is Obama thinking with this one? Obviously he's not thinking, or he just doesn't give a flying fuck.

Come on Obama, I voted for you... make me proud.

Is this some revisionist history? Bush did not get a free pass. Far from it. Obama is pathetic with his bashing of his own country and sucking up to all the foreign dictators and ramming his socialist agenda down the countries throat. Has accomplished NOTHING with North Korea or Iran. Has spent trillions of TARP money with no positive effect on the economy. The guy is a Marxist with his voting history EVEN more left than the late Ted Kennedy. I didn't like where Bush was taking us but I have enough sense to see that Obama(and company) is driving the freaking bus off a cliff.

OK dude. We see how you stand on politics and we see that you can't handle dealing in reality. That's cool. But let's be real... Obama isn't ramming anything. He got elected and he is still being supported by many more voters than Bush during his terms. So again... he's not ramming anything... he's doing what his constituents who elected him want.

Now it's our job to tell him we don't want this DUID shit nationwide. We need to tell him that we understand this issue garners serious concern given the current medical marijuana laws in the nation. We need to provide a better nationwide solution through grassroots politics... its not gonna happen in Washington.

He's not listening to people like you though. So you might as well shut up. Unless you like yelling into nothing of course. Calling him a socialist pretty much lands you with the crazies in the Tea Party.

Edit: And again... THIS IS NOTHING NEW PEOPLE. This has been law in many states for some time. Obama did not come up with this. Is there really no one capable of reading and figuring that out on their own... oh wait... you're all too busy blaming the President to see that state legislatures and the voting public are actually responsible for the status quo. These laws were in place before Obama's campaign even got off the ground. Talk about non causa pro causa. JEEZ.

  11. To me,it seems as if obama is putting this in place so when he does make weed legal,he be like "we already have laws in placed for DUID,might as well make it legal" If not, then were are the laws for under the influence of prescription drugs??

  12. Well actually that law originated in the state to which it pertains... so Obama had nothing to do with it.

So you don't think he's socialist in his views at all? That's really burying your head in the sand. And with ramming Obama care. I don't know how you define hurriedly voting for something that nobody has read in detail to get it passed asap. That to me is the text book definition of ramming. I'm not a crazy like you'd like to believe, I've just been around long enough to see past the hyperbole.

  14. I'm not sure why his supporters won't admit he's got socialist leanings. He wanted public health care: check. He tried to basically nationalize the auto industry by buying up most of GM: check.

There's nothing wrong with admitting it; it's a vaild point of view. It's one I would debate against but that's another matter. People act like the "S word" is a bad word. It's just bad policy, not a bad word. Socialists are not evil, they are just misguided.

Bush wasn't much better in that department, with the biggest expansion of Medicare since it was founded. He wasn't at all conservative, not fiscally at least.

I think they are both empty suits for the most part. Just puppets.

  15. Clear to any rational person, but for some reason his ardent supporters are in some kind of denial. Why not debate it on it's merits rather than just attack the people showing them the truth?

You're running off with quite the assumption if that statement was meant for me. I never said he didn't lean. I said he wasn't a Socialist and that anybody flinging that term as an insult might as well be lumped in with the Tea Party and their craziness. You're smart... I just know you get the difference.

And it isn't a new thing for a President to have socialist leanings... or an American for that matter. I recognize that the term Socialist is meant to disparage the President and tie him to ideas and actions with which he has no connection. That's why I said what I did and why I defend against Tea Baggers and their supporters.

I fully recognize that Socialism isn't evil... it's the other side that doesn't get it. You're preaching to the choir. And besides... most conservatives support enormous "Socialist" programs and increases in funding to them... so the whole idea is ridiculous.

Why don't I ask those crying "Socialist! Liar! Muslim!" the same thing? And the Muslim thing is a great example of the same phenomenon. Obama isn't a Muslim, being a Muslim isn't a bad thing and yet people like this use it as an insult to him. How would I be wrong to refute their statements?

Don't be so one sided. Everyone is wrong. At least my ideas come from me and my analysis of what I read from multiple sources. We can clearly see the other guy just listens and regurgitates Fox News headlines.

And this all started because this Fox News follower misappropriated the blame for DUID legislation. Let's debate the ORIGINAL TOPIC on it's merits. You know... before we run off on this pointless tangent. I'm here to set the record straight because this ridiculous law has been on the books in my state for years. Most of the posts in this thread blame Obama for something he had very, very little to do with... and that's a fact that I know we both recognize. You've posted about DUID before.

  18. Unless all voted in laws that didn't have full support should be considered ramming... NO. There have been many laws passed in LESS time without full support that were just as democratic as the health care bill.

You only think it's ramming because you are a Murdoch drone.

nice try. you really show you inability to debate in a reasonable manner when all you can do is tell people to shut up and call them names. But then again, i expect no less from an Obama supporter.

You tell me nobody is listening but why do you have to respond and call me names? Just because you hate murdoch, please don't lump me as his drone.

Just because our president didn't invent the archaic law DIUD doesn't mean he isn't running with it and implementing it into his own policy which it seems he's doing.
