Really bad highs - help

Discussion in 'General' started by toni45, Oct 27, 2018.

  1. So whenever I smoke weed I always get really bad highs. This happens most of the time but not always. It's hard to explain what exactly happens but it's usually along the lines of like every part of your body just like hurts. It might be hard to understand but it's like if you were to think of your hand, your hand would start hurting and it's like that the whole time. I feel like my body is just like trying everything possible to like slowly kill me if that makes sense. After reading this it may sound a bit over dramatic but this is basically what happens. I could go more in depth but I would have to explain it to you when im actually high so I can give better details. So the point of asking this was could there be a certain reason why I get such bad highs? Like why do I get a bad one when others get a really chill/relaxed feeling...

  2. after awhile, weed (especially bad weed, but it became ever-present) just started to put me in a bad head space and i used to be addicted to the happiness it gave me.

different strokes for different folks, i guess.

  3. So you mentioned physical pain, think of your hand and it hurts... pain is simply a blockage of energy so maybe you are not as sensitive to or tuned in to the pain until you are high... the high more often than not will amplify more than tone down any physical sensation based on my experience... it doesn't dull like alcohol but shifts the attitude so pain is much easier to tolerate... speaking of all types of pain (blockages of energy) including mental and emotional...

My experience is focus on what is at hand, in front of me or what i'm engaged in without the mind traveling back to the make believe world of then or into the imaginary world of the future.. most of us live in the past and future, rarely in the here and now present but when high i find it is much easier to accept the Now and forget the imaginary time travel mind chatter...

Doubt my comments will help but hope you find the answers or acceptance of what is whichever comes first.

  5. Likely true Vos but i was beginning to think the same thing after having some negative reactions most of this year... that is if i indulged more than bare minimal... then out of the blue like a miracle a couple of weeks ago found a Sativa that seemed to transform it all from the very first high...

Since then i can vape dank sativas without the stabbing pains in head and chest as well as feeling speedy in an uncomfortable way... Before it was like an overdose of coffee and lack of sleep, being wired on tired...

Now it's like i found my groove with the magic strain and have tried others without the previous side effects as well... So the OP could continue by reading up on strains mostly side effects and try small doses until he finds his groove if he has one.

  6. You asked why this happens to you and not others. Since it doesn't happen to everyone it means the problem is not the weed, the problem is your reaction to weed. Find out why. Since it doesn't happen every time find out what you're doing differently those times. That will answer the question. Dose, mindset, and setting is what determines our high. Only you can figure this out and I suggest starting with dosage, make it a tiny one.
