Realllly need help with my IRS 1099 shit... help?

  1. Alright guys, just got a new IT job that is paying as a 1099 sub-contractor/freelancer.

I don't have health/dental/vision/etc insurance and don't care to get any. I'm also single (engaged but not married) and I have no dependents to claim. Also, let's assume I don't have any "deductions" right off the bat (I don't think I would have any but I honestly don't have a fucking clue).

So how do I go about figuring up how much I will owe at the end of the year? The IRS websites (and many others) are awfully vague and hard to follow and I really need some help here. Somewhere between 13.5% and 93.5% is what I've heard.

Let's say I pull in $300/week from this company, every week. That totals out to exactly $14,400 a year.

Any ideas as to how I can figure up how much I will need to <*bend over and*> cough up to the IRS?

    Goddd I'm confused. Help? haha

    Thanks blades!
