Well it will smell a little bit once its about 2 feet tall or so, but not much. Then once it starts budding it will really smell. depending on how many plants you have and the layout of your house, you're entire house could smell. EDIT: it can also depend quite a bit on the strain. i think indicas tend to smell a little more, but i may be wrong
