searched the forum n didn't find any threads posted about this show. seeing as the new season started just a week ago, i figured this would be a good time to start a thread for followers of the show. feel free to share whatever opinions of bill maher you have.. but more specifically... this thread is to discuss the specific issues discussed in each week's episode have @ it folks.
nah there are too many topics covered in every show to bother posting random vids.. i'll prolly post some once a discussion starts in this thread that i can find relevant vids for
I watch it, haven't actually seen any of the new season - I didn't even realize it was back on already. Bill Maher is a huge douche and I don't agree with a lot of the douchey things he says, but goddamnit he's hilarious.
i actually agree with the majority of his recurring themes. and yes, he's bound to come off as a douche to those who dont see eye to eye with him. but word. the man is a comedian! lol
this is that show I have always been interested in watching but ultimately wind up watching something else
its a dope show if youre interested in politics and knowin you caveman i think you'd be down with bill's views mostly but yeah it's the type of shit you gotta watch when you're sober enough to absorb information. it's a pretty even split between comedy and politics (& science/philosophy maybe since he's big on atheism) but anyway to keep this thread on topic.. last episodes panel was terrible. well... not entirely. Andrew R. Sorkins a smart dude although i disagree with him on some philosophical issues. PJ O'Rourke made a fool of himself at several points.. didn't really make any thought-provoking points.. and S.E. Cupp is less of an embarrassment than PJ but still.. by the end of the show a few things that came out of her mouth made me face-palm. Bill's dirt-digger guy had some pretty good dirt.. was funny shit. nothin thought-provoking though. Dawkins was the highlight of that episode. "We Are All Africans"
last night's episode was the most epic Real Time i seen in a while. conversationally too. Jimmy Carter was awesome. and.. Zach Galifianakis sparked a J on live television
whoever that brunnette was on the show 2 weeks ago was hot. and you know behind those glasses she's a dirty whore that needs to be punished.
S.E. Cupp.. &she does needa be punished.. she's against the green energy industry, as was PJ O'Rourke because they "dont believe we can do anything about the environment's state.. so it so it's a waste of money"
