I'm not sure how long I've been flowering but I believe 9-10 weeks and all of my plants (all different strains) have mily/white trichs. Not a single one has turned amber. Also, none of them are clear... My plants aren't getting the most light (1000w hps on a track covering a 18'x10' room). How much longer do you all think?
still a handful of premature pistils.. you're getting close to the end. are you rotating the plants still or do you have them stationary?
I rotate weekly. Noticed some of them are larger on one side, so I know it's important. I guess what's most important to me is that I know you harvest: hybrids half white/half amber; sativa mostly white; indica mostly amber... so I want to make sure to harvest my sativas right before they start to turn amber. If I wait until the crystals start to turn amber, for sativas, is that alright? Since they won't be premature for sure but they also won't be OPTIMAL... ideas?
Have they stopped swelling? Many times new white pistils will come out late so I would watch trichomes daily....I like to harvest at 10% Amber.
It's hard to tell if they are swelling or not when you go in there every day. I do check trichs daily. You like to harvest at 10% amber for any variety? sativa to indica? Moreover, do you mean you start to flush at 10% or that's how they actually are harvest day and if so when do you start flush T_T
I flush when I know they are 2 weeks out meaning almost all are cloudy. I can tell when mine are swelling as they gain weight daily and will harvest both indica and sativa at 10%. I harvested 12 original Amnesia plants (90% Sativa) this spring that were 10% Amber and got truly amazing results with a pure sativa high.

Yes....indica at 10% as well will give a great couch lock depending on genetics. If that is what you desire, order up some Black Domina....you will have to have your front zip onezy on and a pillow behind your head before hitting that as you will be out by the time you put down your lighter!
Haha that sounds allot more like DMT. But in all seriousness, no I want every variety. I actually am about to pollinate lots of strains like buzz light gear and strawberry cough with Big Bud! Years from now I plan to refine the genetics and release my own line. :3 You should try Caramello by Delicious. It's very unique, sweet smelling. Very crystallized. Also very tolerant plant as I learned when I had it in temps considered dangerous-deadly. I've always wanted to try black domina. Anyone know the best companies offer it with pure genetics?
Sensi Seeds Black Domina is 95% indica with a paralyzingly trippy lock down. Again...Your experience may differ but I have to be settled in before even loading a bowl...lol.
Haha I'm so impatient. I already ordered it from sensi. glad I chose the correct company. I'm familiar with sensi though so I went with that. I recommend caramello by delicious AND spicy white devil by samsara
spicy white devil has extremely stable genetics. all 4 fem seeds i've gotten were almost identical, in different rooms. caramello is the best smelling and tasting weed i've ever smoked.
now that i think about it... papaya by nirvana is a really great one. Not sure if i fucked up 1 of the plants or of genes aren't stable but this 1 is the tallest fattest one in my room (6' vs 4')... bout to update on diff ones.
I have some Super Lemon Haze going right now that are in day 100 of Veg. I topped once and have been applying some LST as well to keep me short (er). The reason I haven't made the switch to 12/12 is because I got high one weekend and popped some auto flower seeds I had. I have those in the same tent on 20/4 and don't want to switch until those are done. Nothing like bad timing on my part. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks until I switch and worried about the SLH getting too big...
i'd switch to 16-17 hours now because autos can take less light they just wont be as dense; however, a root bound plant or one that grows into the light space is not safe... depending on what kind of lights you're using... I also have a super lemon haze. It was vegged same amount of time as papaya. neither were topped. for some reason it's 2 foot tall with basically no bud on it, just hairs, but still looks healthy. I guess 1/### of any stable strain could go recessive.
Glad to hear you have grown SLH....I have a few questions. They are almost 3 feet tall and even wider yet. Each plant has about 20 to 30 potential bud sites. I am using 2 cool tubes at 600 watts each. How much did yours grow after your switch? I only have about 6 feet of head room. I am using air- pots that air prune the roots but they are only 3 gallon pots. I did that to try and keep them short. To your point though....I may need to transplant as they drink 2 gallons each every other day so I know the root structure is pretty substantial.
