June 1 is normal nor cal planting day. Just put them outside and them bring them in for a few hrs. I have mine outside with 1200 watts mh/hps. I will Never have a early flower plant again.

They will flower when they sense the days are getting shorter. 12/12 is an indoor guideline. Indoor growers usually switch from 18/6 or 20/4 to 12/12, which tricks the plant into thinking the days are getting shorter and winter is near so the plant starts making flowers to receive the pollen it will never get. So yeah, we are like very conservative and protective parents and we don't want our girls to just fool around with some bagseed no-name peasant and when our plants are of legal age, we kill them and smoke their genitals.
