I’m trying to plan for harvest a week from now. Do you think that it is appropriate or should I wait longer? It will be my first & I’m not sure. Thank you!
Hard to really tell without looking at the trichomes, but I think they have some filling out to do. About a week or two should be good.
You need to get a good magnified look at the trichomes to tell for sure. Jeweler's loupes are super cheap and are a God send when looking at your buds. Here's one I picked up on Ebay for less than 5 bucks..... 60X Magnifying Loupe Jewelry Jewelers Pocket Magnifier Loop Eye Glass Led Light 635909323303 | eBay Your trichomes will go from clear to cloudy to amber in color. Everyone is different, but I like to see about 20 percent amber in the trichomes before harvesting.
Oh and I forgot to mention that yes you do look closer to 2 weeks away than 1, but that can't be known for sure without looking at the trichs.
