I flipped her to flower 6 weeks ago today but looking at all the online grow diaries I can find for the strain (CBD Critical Mass) she looks about ready to harvest. This seems about 2 weeks early from everything I've read. Please can anyone with experience tell me from the pictures if I should harvest immediately please? Thanks!

Thanks @Vee, this is a very useful chart. Truth is I have seen loads of pics and charts and webpages etc… I think I need to buy a jeweller’s loupe to get a closer look at mine to better compare the trichomes to all the pictures. Looking at Amazon there are so many and while they claim 40x magnification, even the better reviewed ones are called out on this claim. Do you have any advice on a good one, please?

  8. I can recommend 30 x power for a loupe' tho 25x is the norm many use usb microscopes but I draw the line at bug fetal stuff, later they are very handy checking others weed and comparing to yours also check the diamonds on clover roots will have you growing organic in a mo! lolol

in time you may not need the glass to see if they are ripe you will have noted the wasted pistols in comparison to the glow of the trics!

    cheers

  9. Have ordered a 40x from Amazon as it got best reviews. Tempted by the microscope but agree it's a bit over the top for requirements. Thanks for the help.

I have attached more photos for any guidance that anyone can give me. From what I can tell, the colas haven't grown that much in the 2 weeks since I started this post. I expected the pistils to be darker by now and the buds to have swelled. She doesn't smell that much either. There are a lot of yellow and dying leaves now which I kind of expected but maybe not to this extent. Her stalks and branches still seem green and healthy. I don't think she's doing much (if anything) and wondered that if I don't harvest now that I will end up with a dead plant. FYI I flushed 7 days ago and have been only giving her water since. Help a noob please. I'd hate to blow my first harvest - not that it's going to be a biggie! Cheers.

  12. Looking forward to it, @Flannigan ! But do you think it's ready? It's about 30 degs centigrade in my tent at the moment and can't get it any lower so I'm worried that there's damage going on!

  14. I still think it could go a little longer maybe 2 weeks but im not in your situation. 30 Celsius is 86 Fahrenheit which is what I use. That's high during flower.

  15. If you have already been used to this temperature for a while it looks like the plants are tough and dealing with the situation. If your humidity is also high I hope you have good air circulation

  16. Looking at the buds again they look like they could go if you need to but most people go by looking through scopes to check tricomes but im used to harvest the old way which is anywhere from 70 to 90 percent red or what color besides white hair has turned

  17. Thanks @Flannigan, I will watch her day by day and if the heat looks like it's taking her down then I'll harvest then. At a guess I'd say white pistils are at 60% orangey red now. Hopefully a few more days might just about do it. Thanks for your feedback.
