    I'm a new user, no convictions, non of my friends have been questioned since I started smoking, and I got on a DEA/GBI suspicion for drug use list. There are three posibilities for this that you may wish to take into consideration.

    I believe this happened because I joined a facebook legalization group. This is almost certainly the root cause of it, and is one of the stupidest things I've eve done. Such group no longer exists, and I think it was a legitimate group, not a fishery, that the creator realized was being used as such and got deleted.

    but it coulda happened becasue of gc.

    I'm also very lucky, because my parents have connections in the sheriffs department that told them, who started yelling at me, which tipped me off to lay low. Luckily, I have no current stash to hide, that woulda been bad.

    Why would the dea want to catch you for smoking pot? Did you talk about trafficing 10 plus pounds of marijuana out of canada into the states or something? Sketchy...

    cuz you know, the dea is a massive government agency dedicated to taking down heavy narcotics traffickers, not your friendly neighborhood stoner who joins a facebook group, im in like 7 facebook groups for legalization, and one that just says " smoking pot" and ive yet to get noticed by a federal agency...lol

    Sounds more like your folks trying to scare you and make you stop toking. I'm not from the us but I think the Dea is probs looking for trafficers and big time players and maybe lower down for the more illicit drugs but not your average smoker. Even the police don't really care about it

    You'd better drop what your doing right now and move to Taiwan.

    The DEA is going to be at your house in 23 minutes to confiscate your quarter.

    How do i know this? This is how the DEA works.

    1. Search on facebook with hopes of finding small time recreational pot smokers.

    2. Reverse trace their I.P Address through a secret military satellite that cost them 87 million dollars and trace it to your house computer.

    3. Send up a heavily armored assault helicopter and use thermal imaging to locate you.

    4. Observe and wait for you to pull out your stash and start up a sesh.

    5. Two highly trained SWAT teams will throw in the tear gas and infiltrate your house.

    6. Your busted. Enjoy your $25 fine sucker.

    Seriously though, I have a couple of buddies who work WITH the DEA, and they (DEA) really aren't into any small time things, they only take care of trafficking and large scale distributions.
