Re-potting whilst flowering

  1. Hello folks,

Been lurking for a while...my first post..nice lil community!

So, I have a budding plant growing in soil that is in desperate need of more space to grow...my new leaves are tiny and growth is obviously being stunted because of the pot size. She's all alone under a 200w flouro so theres enough space for her to branch out if only she had the bigger pot. She hasnt been in there long..only 3-4 days.

Is it ok to repot during flowering? Or am i going to shock her into further stunted growth or even worse, death.

It's bagseed and all these lessons are being learnt and well remembered for my vegging grapefruit.

    Feedback appreciated. Cheers.

  2. Go ahead transplant it! It may stay slow for a couple a dayz but then will be much better! I would not transplant in flowering usually but I have heard of people doing it even closer to the end of flower due to nut. lock and it was o.k.! Your still early try to be careful w/ the rootball. But by all means do it your plant will love you.

  3. some people will probably advise against it, but i've done it several times with zero problems. if done carefully, i've never had a transplant cause any visable stress or slowdowns.

  4. Ive heard of some people cutting out the bottom of the pot instead of giving her a full transplant to reduce stress? Maybe an option for you? If not, good luck, and maybe give her something afterwards to help cope with the stress.

  5. Thanks guys.

I will go ahead and transplant....to Anony: give her something to cope with stress like root juice or something? what would you suggest?

  6. Well, just kinda think of what the plant needs. Of course youll want to water it right away to help the soil mix. I like to give it super thrive after a transplant, however some people say it may not be good during flowering, I tend to disagree but only because It hasnt been proven to me personally that its bad. I always like to give them a hefty dose of Co2 after a transplant as well. I believe there is a juice to help with a transplant, but cant remember what its called.

  7. Ok cool. Thanks. Will repot ASAP and see how we go.
