It is in the summer time or you will get stunted growth and root rot. Winter time, I run aquarium heaters. I know it a 400 dollar hit, but it's well paid for it's self. I run my temps at around 81.5, AC kicks on a 83.5, I can get away with is cause the water is chilled.
Just buy as you can, that's what I did. If I need something, I'd turn a bit to a friend or two to pay for the upgrade(s). Now I'm pretty much set on everything I have, I got spares of all the crucial stuff in case of failure etc...
You will like the light. Yeah get a chiller if you can, 2 liter pop bottles frozen is a cheap method too, not accurate and won't chill a big res but if you got enough of em'....
Maybe I’ll try that this year since I won’t be starting the hydro grow until the end of summer (soil grow still going) and then I won’t need to get one until next year got the controller works well
@ledxpert Both. Weed won't hardly grow when the roots get warm and is also susceptible to root rot. In the winter time I run a aquarium heater.
Ah yeah. I've read about root temp for oxygen but never gotten in to it because I have such a controlled environment. I was just curious if you did it with existing conditions and saw a boost or if you did it so you could let your room get hotter.
It's hard for me in the summertime to get the temps below 80. AC constantly running blah blah. I can manage the heat running at night time schedules and the fans pulling in fresh air. I could get away with higher temps than that. My outside stuff in doing good in 85--90 degree temps. I try to stay within the best growth range if I can.
Okay yeah so you're already pretty warm so hard to tell if cooling just helps the plant because its so hot ambient otherwise. Thats cool though.
Hey big guy help a lady out I need a parts list so I don’t mess around and buy the damn store lol Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
