1. I'm not a great roller at all, i was wondering if Raw's were any good to start on? and how do you guys feel about them?

  2. Raw is good paper, but if you're not a great roller or just starting out consider a 1 1/2 size sheet. Hempire also makes a nice sheet, but there's nothing at all bad to say about Raw papers. I don't know if they have a 1 1/2, the ones I have here are 1 1/4 :)

  3. Well, if you want to start out rolling good joints, try using the dollar bill trick, or construction paper trick. Youtube it. Basically put, you roll and form your weed in the dollar bill, then slide your paper and roll the dollar bill up. I used this to practice for a few weeks, and then I started to roll with just the papers. I seemed to do way better than my first few joints I rolled without the dollar bill.

  4. i find thinner papers to be harder to roll with. try something thicker

  5. Most learn with orange zig zags, they're nice and thick. Once you learn on those you should be able to roll anything. Stay away from raw organic tho, they're awful, go with original raw. I prefer cellulose papers tho.

  6. thanks bru.

  7. I bought my first pack of papers the other day so I could learn / teach myself to roll. Ended up getting Zig-Zag white 1.5s. They were out of the orange ones. First joint ended up being so screwed up that I dismantled it and started over with a fresh paper. Second one was much better, and the recent ones have been nice too. Just stick with it, man. Everyone starts somewhere.

  8. RAW papers are terrible to start out with- they're very thin and I have to roll them slightly differently than real papers.

I'd say start with TOP, JOB, or Zig-Zags, because you want to get something more standard under "wraps" first.

    Sorry for the pun...

  9. I like zig-zags and juicy jays (banned from headshops now) ..There what i started on and everytime ive tried a new brand i just sucked.. The zig zags seem to grab and hold the weed better. Hard to explain but they just make things alot easier for me.

  10. I only use Raws. And have for the last couple of years. There such good papers. I can't believe I used to use zig zags. I get way better flavor out of the Raws. Plus I like that there unbleached.

But I know people who have been smoking for years and they still have trouble using RAWs.

Starting out you want to use Zig Zags - Tops - or anything you can find that is thick.

  11. I've been rolling joints for a few years, and RAWs are still tricky to me, far too thin.

I started out with JOB 1.25s and I've always had a pack in my wallet since. Perfect, simple, easy to roll and even burning. =)

I use king size cellulose papers for special occaisions, and juicy jays are always a treat, but JOBs are still my bread and butter rolling paper.

Stay away from overly-thin or rice papers and you'll be fine, though.

  12. When ever i roll i use zig zags
