Random seed Day --- flower

    Ok so I didnt realize that you count the days for flowering from the first bud that appers, and NOT from the day you start 12/12 lighting. I started 12/12 about 34 days ago, so I dont know if that can give you an idea or not. It showed some buds probably within a week to maybe 2 weeks. I would estimate it has been in true flower for 15 days now. I dont know the strain or anything. I bought a pack of purple power seeds and these were the free ones they sent me. I tried to grow 3 purple power plants and none made it. one didnt germ, one died early on and the last one was a HUUUUUUGE male plant. If I get a female of it, then it will produce some NICE buds, but until then, enjoy these pictures.

    Purple Power plant is strictly an outdoor strain. Every seedbank that Ive seen that has Purple Power says it is not reccomended for indoor grows. Maybe this is the reason why you didnt do so well them. Your other plant looks decently healthy though (at least its not dying). Didnt those clamps come with reflectors? Youll be able to concentrate the light alot better if you had them on...especially since youre growing in an open space. Your plant wouldnt have stretched nearly as much if you had the reflectors and you were growing in a confined space.

    thanks for the input. I actually have them enclosed. I just take the enclosure away when i work on the plants. The purple power did VERY well in my hydro system. It got huge, but it was a male. I only tried 3 seeds for the P.P. One didnt germ and the other 2 did. the 2nd seed grew to about 3 inches high and stopped and died.

    Yeah, the clamps have reflectors, but the way i have my box set up, i just didnt use them. For my next round of seeds, i will redesign my box. I added extra lights later in the growing and was always fidgeting with my set-up. it wasnt thought out well at all.

    about the pp growing indoors. I read the same thing, but with how well my male grew, i think i can get some FAT buds if i only get a female plant.
