Random Questions w/ Gigantic Picture

    I was wondering a few things...answer all, none or any ;D, even suggestions or thoughts. This strain is Northern Lights x Big Bud. Tallest plant is around 12 inches, 2nd tallest is a couple days younger, the two shortest are probably a week younger than the oldest with only a day or 2 difference being the two smallest. The tallest being about 6 weeks old. They all are forming 9 leaves >_>. Oh and in the past I've made lots of mistakes that will never happen again! This pic was taken when the lights turned back on from 18/6.


    1. How would you rate my grow so far 1-10? First time ever!
    2. Do I need more space? What's going to happen! I have sliding doors =(.
    3. Since they're different in age, should I try topping the taller ones >D? Maybe it will slow their growth down a little enough for the other ones to catch up just a bit in height? Would this be a good idea and how soon should I? Maybe take more clones from these ones to balance it x_X?? bad or good idea?
    4. When do you think would be the best time to take clones and start the flowering for this strain sativa/indica? I want to get it to around 2-2.5 feet within the next 2-3 weeks in veg.
    5. Anyone ever grown NL x Big Bud haha?
    6. Oh and how much wind? A nice oscilating breeze here n there while lights are on? Or bump it up a notch so they really feel it in their whole body? I keep the fan off at night ;).

    Your plants look nice and healthy. I don't know abot a 1-10 rating, but you pass with flying colors so far. They don't look stretched but this is not a good angle to tell that -- can you post a pic from the side? I'm not wild about seeing that aluminum foil on the floor, it reflects more heat than light, but if doesn't seem to have hurt you so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

    "What's going to happen" is that when you put the lights into 12/12 for flowering the plants will have a growth spurt. They could double in size, so plan accordingly.

    Sliding doors are not necessarily a problem, but how are you lightproofing that closet with sliding doors? You do not want stray light getting in there during the flower stage. What plans do you have for odor control? NL is low odor but not zero odor.

    As for how to handle the age differences, that depends on how much longer you plan to let them veg out. If you are going to go another 2-3 weeks then you could top the taller ones. If you are going to start flower cycle soon then just leave them alone or tie down the taller ones. If you tie them down you don't need to tie them down much, just get the main stem bent so that the tops of those plants are at the same level as the tops ofthe shorter ones.

    For stem strength you just need a light breeze on the plants, enough to make them "dance."

    My room is pretty dark, there is absolutely no light coming from my windows, I got AC and stuff there. I'll close the doors an hour before night or the doors will be closed if the HPS heat is not of a problem like the MH is. I might tape trashbags down the door cracks just incase I stumbled in my room drunk as hell on accident or some odd thing. I was thinking around 6pm - 6am. This way, I get off work around 3-5am, wait till 6 to open the door then wake up before 6 to get out! Which means I'll be sleeping when the plant is awake and away from it when it's asleep. Less chance of opening my room door. Haha but I'm also going to have a cloining section inside my room too, but it'll be covered to the max with hella blankets over it (I ran out of money and room LoL I use everything that I don't use the best I can).     For odor control, I have this carbon air scrubber that does 80 CTT or CTC or something organic odor removing? It should get rid of the smell a little =D!

    Oh and can the odor from the plants stick to your clothes/face lol? I don't want to smell like bomb digity dank everywhere I go (although it sounds really nice).

    Go for it, topping increases the plant's yield by having more than one cola. If you top it down to the size of the smaller plants they will probably grow in unison. Personally, I'd top under highest node of the smaller ones as well!

    If it gets 2-2.5 feet before flower, you could have a plant up to seven feet tall in flower! Remember, a plant can triple in hight during flower.

    Keep the fans on moderate 24hrs a day, plants breathe during the night too.

    I'ma go take pics, wait a few minutes pleas (didn't see the take pic from view lol so tired) e~

    I think the ceiling stops at 8 feet :D.

    Pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 are the plants by age (oldest to youngest).
    Picture 6 is the four again (the stem grew bending ever since a seedling o.o)
    Last picture is the 2nd oldest's booty.

    I notice the bottom part, there is a lot of new growth and I see a bunch of small new growth slowly growing towards the top.

    Looking for a new camera x_X, anyone know something simular to this or around a reasonable price for decent quality? I have notta clue on cameras x.x

    Around $40-100

    Haven't had a camera for probably a couple or few weeks x.x, flowering 2 females! 7 F Clone experiments, 2 Bagseed experments, some basil, chives, curled parsley, dill experiments. And 5 male clone experiments in veg haha.

    I need advice from you pros!
