ok so i started out a coupkle plants from bag seeds and started them in plastic cups. well they started growing and the roots were doing really good so i transplanted them when they were roughly 2 and a half weeks aftersprouting, into a bigger pot were i want to keep them til harvest. this was about 3 days ago. i posted pictures of both of them currently. i jus want someone to tell me what im doin right and what im doin wrong cuz their growth has stopped and i recentyl put them under a 100 watt bulb (initially a 60 wagtt bulb) to see if that helps. and about 3 days ago after i transplanted them i started using miracle grow plant food that goes into the water and water the p0lants wit this stuff. but the growth has stopped and the bigger one had one small set of leves towards the bottom which died and crumple up yesterday and the smaller one had one set of small leaves on top that crumpled up and died 2 days ago. i keep them under light for 16 hours a day and in dark for 8 hours a day. can anybody tell me anything? lol am i doin good bad ok horrible what? lol thanks for the help! o and btw they did have some stretchin due to the light being to far away cuz i aint no bout that til i read diff things on internet that happend in begging which is y i have to straws on the stems to keep them from fallin over and to help them get stronger

  2. Your pics arent showing up. As for MG it is pretty strong stuff and should be dilluted to about 25% strength. Also what kind of lights and soil are you using? As for nutes dont use any for the first couple of weeks or so.

  3. How often are you watering? How hot or cold is your grow room? And are you feeding them anything? It could be nute burn, over watering, heat problems. Any number of things.

  4. Pic's not showin for me either
Needs more light than that too, 100w first plant and +50w per plant after that (eg. 3 plants = 200w), your 100w isnt gonna cut it, CFL's are pretty cheap and easy to use keep bulbs no more than 6" from the plant leaves.

  5. All possibilities. Also, the transplant could have stressed it a bit. Keep it simple, don't overcompensate. It is a wise choice on your part to not move them into new pots again. Can't see the pictures either.

  6. not sure y the pics arent showin.. ill try to get that fixed.. and im not sure exactly what the nutes im giving it is called but i do no its miracle grow plant food that i put in the water when i water them. and the water i give them is at room temp the house which they are kept in stays about 72-76 degrees fairenheight. i dont actually have a grow room. its in this gurls house that i been wit for years and she been takin care of them. i dfo think i over watered them bc she was watering them alot but i found on internet to not water unless its dry a couple inch in the soil so that could be a prob. and the growth stuntin and the leaves dieing all happened right after i transplanted and the day i transplanted i started using the nutes so i was thinkin that was possibly the problem is those 3 things right here. but how would i go about fixing this? and how do i avoid it next time?

  7. Only water when the soil feels dry about an inch down, dont use any nutes after transplanting other then some Super Thrive and no nutes for the first 2-3 weeks. MG nutes arent that highly reccomended as alot of new growers tend to use it at to high of a strength for pot plants. MG nutrients should be dilluted to about 25%, its pretty strong stuff for pot plants.

  8. i think i was right at first and with what yall said about the nute burn and overwatering and stress from transplanting. which kinda nutes would be best to use for them that i can get at like a wal mart or home depot or somewhere like that? and also how do i get rid of nute burn?

  9. Nute burn just has to grow out. I've heard of people flushing, but that can make even more problems. You're best bet is to let time heal all wounds. As far as nutes. I got fish emulsions at walmart. That's high in N which is good for veg, but I get most of my nutes at a local grow shop. You might check out the grow shop in your area before going to walmart or home depot. You'll be happier with the results and it's not much more money. The fish emulsions I got were like $11 and that just covers the N. You will need P and K too. Best to get stuff that's specially mixed for pot. May even come out cheaper in the long run.
