RAM question?

  1. Im kinda confused. Im thinking about getting the GTX 750 for a budget gaming pc build. The specs on newegg say GDDR5 as the memory type, but when I search for GDDR5/DDR5 on any site ie: bestbuy, newegg, I cant find any "5 series" memory. Is it comptaible with DDR3 memory as well? Is DDR5 not on sale yet? Can someone explain this to me?

  2. Graphics memory is different. The memory is already on the graphics card. You need to see the PCI provision to know if it's compatible with your system. If you have a computer from the last 5 years, you most likely have a PCI-Express 16x slot on your motherboard. You should be good.

  3. Graphics memory is totally separate. Make sure your motherboard supports ddr3 RAM and check the speed in mhz it can take. For example mine says it can take 1600MHZ DDR3 RAM up to 64gb. Just make sure it is right. Graphics is separate. Hope I helped

  4. This will help you out
