Nice idea but Murray Rothbard himself tried this in the 60s. He tried to form an anti war coalition of libertarians and leftists. He got stabbed in the back by the leftists when they supported the warmonger  LBJ. I find it interesting that the far right and the far left on this forum would probably be willing to work together to impeach Obama but the so called moderates are still absolutely loyal to him.

  2. Even if they impeached Obama what good would that do? Does Nader really think Biden is a much better choice then Obama?
The whole administration has just turned out to be another special interests front like the last administration minus the bullshit wars, we're just lucky the democrats whole system works when the government is in gear and there is a functional economy unlike the republicans that seem to always be advocating for more military spending and less social spending to try and spur some war to hopefully get our non existent industrial complex moving again.

Either way, until we see a candidate with a cabinet not full of shit head special interest politicians, voting for or really even supporting either side is just a waste of time.

  3. Obama didnt commit any more crimes than congress or the other presidents.

We need to imprisson all of them

  4. Moderates are just assholes who don't know what to believe. They follow what ever popular opinion is because they are moderate

  6. You are not a moderate yuri don't worry about it.

Moderates believe in big government but think its unreasonable to disagree with them because they call themselves moderate.

Well, the first part of that statement was golden, but you must realize that every 'administration' is a special interest front. Thats what government is, certain groups in industry and finance controlling the market through force.

There are no Democrat or Republican parties - they appeal to 'radically different' political principles, but, at the end of the day, will both contribute to wars, increase taxes, increase corporate subsidies, give themselves more power (bigger government), contribute to poverty, fund the prison/military/medical/utilities/shooling complex, and give a private corporation the ability to profit from the existence of a fiat currency. They are both tied into the same racket - a monopoly on the initiation of force and the monopoly on a fiat currency. This isn't even mentioning the fact that any candidate who gets past the primaries is a CFR memeber. The Council on Foriegn Relations controls both parties entirely, and that organization is lead by the very banking interests which subvert and exploit government for their own profit. It's nature is cyclical, persistant, and violent.

That seems like a libertarian position.

Yes I believe self described moderates are being led by someone else opinion. Also they mostly are the type of people who believe in the two party system. They think those are there only options then when they disagree with some of what both are doing and like somethings they do they start calling themselves moderates. They like to believe they are different from "extremists" who have extreme and therefore non-socially acceptable opinions. One example, a moderate might say they only believe in certain types of gun control like no AR-15's or something. They think they are moderate because the extreme position would be ban all guns or (the other extreme) all weapons are 100%  with no regulations legal including automatics.

In short, the label "moderate" is  a way for the government or politicians to make their ideas seem more socially acceptable.

  9.
What about moderates who believe in women having the right to abort yet no marriage for gays and also they believe in occupying afghanistan or X country but also believe in increasing the minimum wage to $30?

It's just a mish-mash of positions they probably have very little idea about, because they listened to some politician who sold them the idea.
