ok so its been raining alot here, and was wondering is there any pros on collecting & useing rain water, instead of useing filtered tap water for my ladies.
Well depending on how polluted your area is it should be very good. I water with aquafina i get from Sam's Club. Filtered tap is just fine and so is rain water.
I started collecting rain water becuase I PH tested it and its a solid 6.5 consistently, which is the same as the reverse osmosis water I get from walmart that is labeled drinking water. I had a couple plants in my backyard that I planted as a joke becuase I had extra seeds knowing I would have to kill them, only watered with rain water and they did great, whereas the indoor plants I had were having major ph issues. So rain water for the win here sticking with that unless I add ferts
