so my plants need 1-2 weeks to really finish, i think. it rained yesterday, today and going to tomorrow. it got rained on this morning for an hour, but otherwise its been dry and its put up out of the rain now. i have no real indoor light. the forecast says sun wed-fri and then rain all weekend. should i chop now? should i try to dodge the rain and give it a little while longer? am i at a high risk of mold since it got rained on this morning? i shook the plant off but its still wet.
without pics, no one can tell you weather or not to chop it. I took 2 plants this year in the rain, brought them in, trimmed em up, and hung em for a week. They dried without an issue.
i don't need anyone to tell me if i'm ready to harvest. i know they have 1-2 weeks left to be perfect. problem is, there is rain scheduled much of that time. what i don't know is how much i should worry about mold. i can keep it out of the rain, but don't have any indoor sun.
idk man ive read some post this guy said that flush is overated and not necessarily but idk everywhere ive read and have been told u have to flush. if it were me and i cant move them or cover i would not flush and just pull them for like a try of the no flush
i'm just gonna cover em i guess, just in hopes that the weather isnt as bad as it seems. through the worst of it hopefully. gonna check for mold daily
ive been dealing with the same problem, my plants need about 2 weeks and it keeps raining or showering almost every day it seems. I have had a minor mold problem so for the past 2 weeks and until harvest i cover them with a tarp any time there is a chance of rain. It is a pain in the ass but the mold hasnt gotten any worse and the buds are dry now.
@weed4dummies - all the rain at this point can really spark a mold outbreak. it would suck to ruin a whole crop this late in the game. i've kept them up and covered, and i flushed today. supposed to be sun for about 3-4 straight days now so its all good. here's hopin they put on some weight before i chop in a few days
he was worried about flushing, not about mold. but youre right, bud rot can settle in. thats a part of the game. just cut that shit off.
he is me, and i was worried about mold originally, because of all the rain. i was afraid to chop early because i hadn't flushed.
