  1. Someone explain this to me... I find it so fascinating that we can die from it...

  2. Explain radiation?

  3. research can provide you with a much better understanding than candid responses on a forum

  5. I'm sorry... I don't even remember posting this...

  6. It was like 2-3 hours ago?

    You forgot already?

  7. I actually posted that the same hour

  8. even worse...

  9. Radiation will do that to you.

  10. HAHAHAHHAHAHAA WINNING THREAD WINNING RESPONSE

    YAAAAA

  11.
    LMAO IM DEAD

  12. Ionising and non ionising waves/particles that are either alpha, beta or gamma. Ionising means they tear electrons off an atom, which in return means a damaged particle which is more likely to mutate - mutation means greater risk of cancer

Once a alpha radioactive particle gets inside you there's pretty much nothing you can do since it will stay there and just bounce into every cell destroying it

This is based of memory so I may be wrong

P.s. I know he said he doesn't remember posting this. LIKE I GIVE A FUCK?!?!

Very good answer, but an alpha particle wont do that. Yes, alpha particles are EXTREMELY damaging, but they can be stopped by something as thin as a sheet of paper, and they travel only very short distances.

  14. I meant if you swallowed it. Or if dust got in you sorry
