Radagast's 2010

  1. Hey GC! New member, longtime reader of the forums here, very helpful.

So right now I have 7 Easy Ryders from the Joint Doctor, 3 Kali Mist soon-to-be-mothers that were selected from a batch of 50 I got from a friend. Also I have a few other types of seedlings in the mix, but I'll talk more about those once they are a bit older.

Anyway the EasyRyders had cotelydons on Dec 5 in Nickel City XtraOrganic Potting soil, kept them in solo cups for 2 weeks, then straight into 3 gallon bags, also with the Nickel City Soil. And 20% perlite because this is my first time using soil indoors. I like hydroponic growing a lot, I feel like I have more control. For nutrients I am used Botanicare's PureBlend Grow and now Bloom. I use Hygrozyme, Liquid Karma, Sweet, and Liquid Seaweed and Cal-Mag because I am using an RO filter for all my water. Current ppm of their mix is about 650. They have 800W HPS on them. They're under a 20/4 photoperiod.

The Kali Mist is from a friend who collected them from a big batch, so they are bagseed. They too popped on or around Dec 5.I am not sure as to the credibility of the strain name however, because they seem to have some indica tendencies and dont adhere to the description I've read from Serious. They have been on the same nutrient program as the Easy Ryders, only they are still vegging, so no Bloom. I am going to use my new aeroponic cloner on these very soon and grow up some little ladies for the spring, so yes, they are sonn to be mothers! Only one thing is concerning me though, they seem to be flowering even though they are on 18/6 under a MH. By the way the Kali'sare under 400W. I topped one, and tied the other two down just to experiment on what it likes best. Current ppm is about 750, soon to be 800.

So if anyone has any questions comments or SUGGESTIONS!! that would be fantastic!

  2. Here are the Easy Ryders. The first two are different tops of different plants, the third is the largest of the bunch. It is a lot more leafy and is a few days behind the others in flowering it looks like. I think this will be the highest yielding of the group. The last is the smallest of the bunch, it has some strange flower formations, the calyx's are quite swollen and a few are pointy at the ends, and have turned purple. This could be because of lower temps recently, I had some overheating issues a few weeks ago, now I have cold air from outside coming in so temps are usually 70-78F during the day, 64-68F at night.

  3. Here are the 3 Kali Mist's. Does anyone think these will makesuitable mothers even though they seems to be flowering already? I have never had this problem before, but this might be an outdoor-only strain or something, maybe that could affect it? When I take cuttings they will be under 24 hours of fluoros, anyone think they will continue to flower, or revert back to veg? Or are these just some crazy pre-flowers and I shouldnt even be worried about it?

So that's my setup, again questions, comments, and CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM are greatly appreciated! Thank you for all the help you've already given me over the past 2 years of growing GC!!
